JOINT WILL OF JOHN QUINE AND MARY QUINE, ARDERRY - 1825

 

In the name of God Amen. We John Quine of Arderry in the Abbey Lands of Kk Braddan and Mary Quine alias Quine my wife being of sound mind, memory and understanding do ordain and appoint this for our last will and testament as follows

First we commit our souls to God and our bodies unto a Christian burial

We leave and bequeath unto our son and heir John Quine the sum of five pounds British

We leave and bequeath unto our daughter Elizabeth wife of John Kelly of Marown the sum of five pounds British

We leave and bequeath unto our daughter Jane Quine one hundred pounds British

We leave and bequeath unto our daughter Margaret Quine the sum of one hundred pounds British

We leave and bequeath to our son Robert Quine the sum of five shillings British the whole of the aforesaid legacies to be paid after the death or decease of the surviver or longest liver of us and no sooner by whom the surviver of us shall appoint

And lastly we appoint the surviver or longest liver of us whole and sole Executor or Executrix of this our last will and testament and residuary legatee of all the rest of our goods and effects moveable and unmoveable of what kind name or nature soever as witness our subscriptions this the twenty sixth day of October one thousand eight hundred and twenty five - 26th Octr 1825
